Horizon Global Electronics is a small but successful UK Company established in 2001, specialising in the design and manufacture of hand-held test equipment for the digital satellite and TV sector. The chosen applicant(s) will share in the work of a busy department.

Repair/Service Technician: CONSULTANT INDIAN OFFICE
Providing technical support to our team of engineers, and hand-rework service/repair on our range of products, for which you will receive training, you will be comfortable working with SMD and PTH technologies, and experienced at fault finding to component level, using meters, oscilloscopes etc. You will have the ability to read schematics, PCB artworks, BOMs and mechanical drawings. You must be methodical, able to work on your own initiative, and have experience of PCs and stock and document control, and be flexible in your role as part of our customer technical support team.

Electronics Design Engineer:
Assisting in the development of new products from concept to production, and support of existing products with customers, distributors and manufacturers, to maintain the company’s competitive edge with inventive and well-researched solutions. Ideally, although not necessarily, a graduate, you will ideally have some experience in digital TV reception systems by satellite, cable or terrestrial means, or similar technologies. Experience in some or all of the following areas would be an advantage:-
Analogue design to component level;

• Digital Design (Microcontrollers, A/D, D/A etc);
• Switch mode power supply design (DC-DC);
• Schematic capture, BOM and component definition;
• PCB layout using Protel/Altium or similar;
• 2D drawings using AutoCAD or similar.
• DFT, DFM

Salary c£30-40k dependant on experience and qualifications.
